Whether you are a friend, partner, spouse, sibling, or parent, know that Inspira Resource Center is here for you as well as our clients.
While you’re waiting in our waiting room, you might be wondering what is going on with our clients. We are filling out the initial paperwork and finding out how we can help. We’re also going over the details of the services we provide to our clients.
It typically takes about 20 minutes to finish the consultation. If you have any questions while you’re waiting in our lobby, feel free to ask the receptionist at the front desk. We are happy to answer any questions or help in any way we can.

All services at Inspira Resource Center are provided at no cost to our clients.
What Can You Do?
Your supportive presence is essential to our client. Many women face unexpected pregnancies feeling isolated in their decision. They don’t always have much-needed support from their community or family ties. The fact that you are showing up today means a lot.
Friend
This may not be the easiest situation to show up and be there for your friend right now. But they need you more than ever. Learning about all their pregnancy options is essential for them right now. You can help them by reminding them that they do have options, and that they have your support and friendship no matter what decision they make.
Parents or Family Member
If you are the client’s parent or grandparent, it is important that right now you be someone they can talk to about their plans and feelings. They need to know you are there for them.
You are no doubt experiencing a roller coaster of emotions yourself. But right now, they need you to show them that you are a steady constant, that you can be even and stable, supportive and present, as they work out what their next steps will be.
Fathers
If you are the father, you may not know how to respond in this situation. Maybe you feel like you’re in crisis right now, maybe you’re excited. Maybe you feel like it’s her decision to make alone. Maybe you don’t know what to do next. Or maybe you are very sure about what the next steps need to be.
Just know that we are here for you too. You are an important part of this equation. Inspira offers free parenting classes to new fathers. While you are naturally the best person for this role, there’s a lot to learn and no one can succeed at parenting alone.
